The 2025 call for applications from the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture, which provides grants to aid torture survivors and their families, commenced on January 15th. The Fund offers two main types of grants annually: direct assistance and capacity building (further details provided below). Additionally, emergency grants for direct assistance are also available. Generally, only applications from civil society organizations are considered eligible.
