The purpose of the Matching Fund is to support initiatives that enhance the recognition of the shared historical and cultural ties between the Netherlands and its partner and focal nations as outlined in the Dutch International Cultural Policy. Given that the primary objective of this program is to promote visibility, it is anticipated that applicants to the International Heritage program will prioritize the principles of mutual representation, diverse perspectives, and a comprehensive understanding of history.
